Chrome DTF transfers feature a mirror-like metallic finish that catches light and creates an eye-catching chrome effect impossible to achieve with standard inks alone.
IMPORTANT ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS
⚠ Chrome DTF transfers ONLY print white artwork onto the chrome film.
This is NOT a full-color transfer process.
Artwork must be provided:
- In solid WHITE only
- On a transparent background
- High resolution PNG preferred
Any colored artwork submitted will be rejected or may require artwork adjustments before printing. The white areas of your artwork will become the chrome metallic finish after pressing.
USING CHROME AS AN OVERLAY:
Chrome DTF can be layered with full-color transfers for incredible special effects, but the chrome must be applied separately.
IMPORTANT:
The chrome transfer MUST be pressed first
The full-color transfer is pressed second
 
Your artwork must be properly prepared by:
- Knocking out the chrome areas from the full-color artwork
- Printing the chrome areas separately
- If the chrome is not pressed first, the chrome film may stick to portions of the full-color ink and create unwanted results.
Recommended process - Press Chrome Transfer then press Full-Color Transfer
Chrome first.
Full color second.

Very fine detail or gradients may not produce the intended chrome effect.
 
Pressing Instructions:
280 Degrees for 8 Seconds
Cold peel
Firm pressure
Recommended heat press for best results
 
Turnaround Time:
Most chrome transfer orders are completed within 1–2 business days depending on order volume and artwork readiness.
